It is January 4th, 2026, and I am finally getting back into the swing of things with my voice notes. I had a bit of a break from recording because I needed to get my subscription sorted, but now that I am back online, it feels good to document where I am at. As I sit here working, my little cat Daisy has come out of hiding just to hear me talk, so she is getting some well-deserved pets while I try to focus on my studies.
To be honest, I am hitting that wall where boredom is starting to set in. I am currently staring down the final stretch of my program with exactly 111 days left until graduation. While I feel ready to walk across that stage today, I still have the rest of this term to wrap up, followed by three more specific terms. These final modules are the most important ones because they focus directly on my career as a medical office and billing specialist, which is the goal I have been working toward all this time.
By the time I graduate on April 26th, I will have been in school for 18 months. A year and a half might not sound like forever to some, but with very few breaks, it has been a long journey. We are currently at the end of what the school calls a 'winter freeze.' Even though attendance has been frozen for the last two weeks, I have been using the time to catch up on my work. Tomorrow morning, it is back to the grind to make sure my attendance is logged and I stay on track.
Looking back, the time since June 2024 has been one giant life lesson. I have been pushing through, keeping my grades up, and doing excellent work despite the fatigue. I am more than ready for this new chapter to begin. I am excited to start my career, get a steady job, and finally start saving up for my Amazon wholesaling business. There are so many great things on the horizon, and I am just ready to get out there and start living them.
